Hi All,
I just installed, but can uninstall if need be, some new 3x plugs. The washer that came with them is concaved. I installed them so the washer would flatten out when tightened. Is this correct? Mike

The gasket will take the shape of the head/plug interface, which in this case should be flat. You should be fine, but retorque them after a few miles just to be sure.

So...
1: Concave up, flat down or 2. Concave down, flat up Feedback?

Either way should be OK.

UNIFORM Torueing is MOST important, since plug HEAT is dissipated through the threads & gasket contact area. Make sure the head surface doesn't have paint build up.
