Ford Barners have answered my questions, given tech advice, and even found parts I needed. I thought it was time I share pictures of my 31 Victoria project.

Looking good. I admire anyone who undertakes a Victoria for a restoration. That's a big job.

The long metal piece that holds the floor board, do you gave pictures and measurements of that piece? I have the two small ones that go on the sides but not the long one. Interested in the location of the holes for the wood screws, and over all length. I assune the gauge and size of bend is the same as short ones.

Mike here is what you are looking for. the long floor strip is made out of the same material as the sides are, and the step for for the D nut are the same too.

Art, when the going gets tough, take a break then go at it again. Restoring a 190A will challenge you. I have built-up a good library of info on the 190A, so feel free to ask me for help. If you haven't already joined the International Victoria Association, I highly recommend that you do.

I salvaged one of these from the cross piece on a two door. This was about the only part saved, I used a die grinder and cut on the top edge. I had to drill the holes to fasten to the wooden cross member. It was a long cut and maybe used up two wheels but was a lot quicker than fabricating a new one. There are a couple of different styles. The Cabriolet and some sedans used a similar part. I would bet that Bert's have one. Norm

Thanks for the encouragement. I did not take this car apart, that was done in 1966 by a previous owner, so sometimes I'm lost like an Easter egg when looking at all these parts. For instance, what is this? I just joined the MAFCA and will also join the Victoria Association.

that parts does not look like part of a Victoria that I can remember, I can`t tell from the picture. is that a metal strip screw on there. it does look like a lower rear seat frame off of ?

I have found some of the right angle at a hardware store. they are real easy to make. John

when I was restoring our Leather Back Victoria I used a piece of angle steel and it worked out OK.

Looks like you have done quite a bit of work already. If you need any pictures, I have an original early May Victoria (flat firewall). I have help several people over the years with pictures.

Art, back in January of 2014, Marco Tahtaras posted on Fordbarn an interesting study of the bumper arms for the Victoria and other Model A's. I have tried to post a copy of the photo, but if you search the archives under Marco, or Victoria bumper arms, you will probably find the entire thread.
