If you want to learn more about the unusual body styles that were made by Ford Australia, check out this earlier Post. Plenty of information and photos on this Post.

![]() “The Early Ford V8 as Henry Built it” By Edward P Francis and George DeAngelis was printed in 1982 on the 50th Anniversary of the introduction of the first Ford V8, this Hard Cover book measures 9” x 11” and contains 226 pages, but only covers the 1932 through 1938 models. For owners of 1939 and later Ford V8’s, unfortunately, your models are not covered in this book. This book is well illustrated with all of the photos being taken when these vehicles were new and are all in Black and White. There are many detailed photos of the interiors as well as overall shots, all of which add to the quality of this book. Authors Francis and DeAngelis spent 8 years of Research studying such materials as original specification, engineering drawings and historical records. |

Regarding Sales Figures for Ford Roadsters, these figures are what is listed in "The V8 Album" that was published by the Early Ford V8 Club of America.
1932 8179 Deluxe & 817 Standard 1933 2206 Deluxe & 640 Standard 1934 3540 Deluxe & 750 Standard 1935 4896 Deluxe 1936 3862 Deluxe 1937 1250 Deluxe These figures would not include the Roadsters manufactured in Australia. As mentioned above, 1940 was the last year that Roadsters were made here. Also, Ford Australia offered the Roadsters in both Standard and Deluxe up to and including the 1938 models, whereas, 1934 was the last year of the Standard Roadster in the USA. |
