Default Flathead gasket shim - pennies.

So, I was looking for suitable material to use as a shim for when I start fitting the heads after being told fiber gasket material mikes out at about .060.

It's pennies. .058, which is close enough. There is enough variance from penny to penny, so I am just going to stick some grease on the mating surface, stick a few pennies on it and drop the heads in place with foil around it.

Flatheads and pennies, man. Flatheads and pennies.
