Default Think inside the box (trailer)

Needing to move two model A's and two similar size vehicles almost 1200 miles, I needed to come up with something inventive to keep from spending a fortune. I was able to get a dry van semi trailer for a fraction of any other covered option. I then set 4x6 timers on the floor just outside the wheels, from front to back, and screwed 2x4 cross braces in front of and behind every tire. At this end I had access to a dock to drive them on. At the other end I had a flat bed tow truck come out and he just extended his bed right into the truck and drove them off one at a time. He then backed up, tilted the bed and drove them off. The cars arrived in perfect condition and never moved a fraction of an inch.
