Default Starter Question...........

OK, Model A Gurus: Noticed today that the starter seemed to engage with a great deal more force than normally. Clyde is a '29 CCPU, bone stock, and driven daily (usually). Only did it once, and the truck was started about 5-6 times today, but when it did it, there was a noticeably loud "thunk" as the starter engaged (but started without other issue). Is this a harbinger of trouble........??

I assume you pulled the starter and took a peek at things. Not a big job. Something may be about to let loose.
