I thought I knew how to do a search for 2 or 3 items in a post, but evidently not. I thought if I did a search for example to look for speedometer and lub in the same post, I would type in speedometer+lub and it would find posts with speedometer AND lub in the same post. What I get is tons of post with just speedometer and other posts with just lub when I use the + between the words. There are probably some post it found with both in them, but I would need to read through a blizzard of posts to find them. Can someone tell me how to search for multiple words in a post? Also it would be nice to be able to find a phrase like speedometer cable where the 2 or 3 words are consecutive. Thanks for any help.

i don't think the search function supports Boolean operators
try to think of another word that would tend to appear only in a speedometer thread, such as odometer, magnet, calibration, waltham, decal, etc

Okay,.....I added "e" too "lub". I also did this search..."speedometer cable lube"...and came up with 2 pages. There was 1 that used Schwinn bicycle fork lube that I liked. |
