Where can I get Stainless Steel tacks for nailing the convertible top to the wood ?
I would like to avoid staples, simply as that is not the way it was done. Man, I'm already battling with myself on how I could use SS tacks as the originals were ordinary steel..... |

Sounds great but hope you have a helper. Aren't you going to loose your ability to use the magnetized end to hold the tacks? May take four hands to do the job.??????????

According to Wikipedia: Brass tacks are a type of pin or nail. In colloquial English, the phrase to come (or get) down to brass tacks is sometimes used idiomatically meaning to consider the basic facts of a situation. |
