Gordon Smith Compressor

We found a Smith compressor in a collapsed garage made from a Model A chassis. Most likely a a do-it yourself type conversion, with the frame shortened, transmission removed and the rear end moved forward, forming a trailer. The condition of the engine is unknown and the history is also unknown. The owner would like to sell it, what do you think would be a fair price for the as is considering the unknowns.
