Default Correct Rear sill 49 f1 half ton stepside

My 49 f1 half ton had the rear sill ( the piece below the tailgate that unites the box on the rear end) cut out. I purchased a Rear Sill from Northern Classic Trucks but,of course, no directions or pictures of installation. My question is does anybody have a very good picture on how this piece is installed? I've looked at the rear end pics of hundreds of F1 trucks but cannot determine if this is suppose to be a seamless piece across between the sides of the box or are there seams that would be considered a stock restoration of this piece that unites the box between the stake pockets, below the tailgate. I hope my description is sufficient. Thank you.
