Hi, does anyone know if the Thomas head with a Mallory distributor, 2301105, requires the distributor cam shaft to be drilled and pinned to the oil pump? If this is a "dumb" question, bear with me as about everything is a learning experience for me.
Thanks! |

Hi Phil, If the mallory dist. is made for a Model A, it will have an offset slot in the bottom of its' upper shaft that will mate to top of your lower shaft.

Phil, maybe you're confused with the one piece dist shaft, which IS pinned to the dist? Otherwise, drop in the short shaft & just stick the dist in. Bill W. ( STICK means install!)
