Hi to all, can a crank pulley be replaced without pulling the motor?
Thanks

Be sure to remove the rear motor mount bolts before you jack up the motor or you will surely crack the flywheel housing.

if you have float a motor mounts they will flex enough to get the pulley out without removing the housing bolts. With stock mounts you will crack something.

I used the two piece pulley that screws together with a L/H thread. To get the old pulley off, just pull it forward & zip it in two with a SAWS-ALL. Easy! Another way is while the pulley is still on, with a long heavy drift & a heavy hammer, just break off the pulley part off. It's cast & breaks easily. Winfield did that when installing his "HARMONIC DAMPENER PULLEY" Bill W.

Yo, Mate,
I forgot where I got mine, either Sacramento Vintage or Mac's. Looks original when installed. I put a dab of blue Loctite on the L/H threads, just to feel good! Yes, I'm up late, Dog's asleep, goin' to the galley & cook 2 pies, that'll wake him up!
Have a great day, BROTHER! Bill W.
