Default Shop Floor covering < again> different take this time

In the thread BIG TRUCKS go to the post by CWH @ 2:11 am This day.
His truck appears to be in a airplane Hanger , check out the floor covering.
Made me ?? think ?? I was told the lite color high gloss on the floor was so the over head light would reflect up under the airplanes. True or Not ??
What type of covering do they use to get it that shinny / is it durable enough to use on our shop floors? / Has any body used this lite type of floor covering with good results?

These types of floor coatings have been used on concrete floors for years.
This is just one of the many different companies that provide a product.
You can watch a video of how it's done.

Check out the "Garage Journal", also owned by Ryan......there's a huge amount of information on floor coverings posted there.

Bill, Check out Sherwin Williams Industrial Floor Coatings. They have a product called Nova-Flo. It is an awesome product. It costs about one dollar per square foot to apply. That is not including if your floor needs ground to "clean" concrete. It also does not include an epoxy primer. This system is self leveling. Instead of rolling it you use a squeege. It does not have to be reduced with MEK. It doesn't smell bad. Check it out. I am a painter by trade. If you guys have any other questions, let me know. Thanks

Dave,
I couldn't find info on the Sherwin-Williams site re: Nova-Flo. Could they be calling it something else?
Tim

BTW those wheels you sent me turned out great.

In the late 70's the we had the contract to remodel the hangars for the Air NAtional guard in Knoxville. They had KC-135 tankers and we coated the floor with brilliant white epoxy
