Adding "humor" to this, we should probably say "It did not sell during the auction." Many vehicles are sold outside of time limits of eBay. I suspect that particular vehicle WILL sell, -and probably at near what the asking price was. It is unique enough (...authentic or not) that people who do have money to "pay for what they like" will step up no matter what the 'club members' say about it or appraise it at. IMO it does not matter one iota to me if it sells for $50k as long as the Buyer can enjoy it. I might also add that not everyone needs to sell something for more than what they paid for it to be happy.

Well, I'd rather see it sold as it is; whoever owns it always could have decided at any point to turn it into a hot or ratrod instead...

I lose money on almost every old car I sell. just write it off as "entertainment" and I'm happy! it's still LOTS less expensive than golf or a boat............
