Just purchased a 1930 A pickup. Both of the door windows need replacing. Checked Snyder's book but dont believe I seen them. Anyone know where to purchase new glass? Ive owned 2 other As but this is my 1st pickup.
Also, this truck is total black including the wheels. I would like to paint the wheels a cream or yellow to dress it up some.but would like to make sure that those colors were offered back then. Any place to find out what colors were offered. Thanks for your help. |

If it's the late '30 style then the windows are the same as the '30-31 Tudor (as are the doors). Wheels from the factory would normally be black. If you were a fleet buyer then the factory would supply whatever your fleet color would be (not sure if this was any production time though). Other than that some justify it as a dealer painted provision. Normal factory supplied colored wheels started in mid 1930 on certain Deluxe passenger cars. Then again it's your truck to do as you please.
