Default B Carb question

I have just installed a B carb and B manifold on my stock A engine, I noticed that it had a Groose jet fuel valve, which I am far from being a fan of due to sticking problems, it has a smaller thread diameter than the A carbs, I would like to replace it with a conventional or Viton tip valve, is there a supplier for them?.
I am thinking this carb may be a very late style, it also has a larger drain plug where you would install a fuel level tester, thanks in advance, Brian T.

I forgot to mention that the assist spring and baffle had been removed from the float as per a suggestion from a search I made regarding installing this carb on a gravity feed system.
