There used to be a company here in Jackson, Michigan called Potter, that made after market trunks in the 1920's and '30's. There were two styles and many sizes. The smaller trunks geared toward Model A size cars are nice and not all that hard to find. One style had a straight back for coupes, and the other had a curve back to fit the shape of the sedans, like the trunk I have on my car. My total investment was about the same as the price of a new trunk, but it makes me feel better being an authentic piece as old as the car.
There are probably lots of options, but this is the way I would go from now on. |
