You will love the heat. Don’t have to worry about carbon monoxide and get great radiator heat.
Your heater install will be a lot prettier than mine----you have a real nice one piece unit. I attached a Studebaker six volt blower motor to the driver’s side kick panel fitting it just to the side of and behind the steering column so as to place it out of the way. I ran a three inch flexible tube behind the gas tank to connect the blower to a F-150 heater core (enclosed in a home made plenum) which I attached to the passenger side kickpanel --- takes up very little space and does not get in the passenger‘s way. I ran the heater hoses thru an existing hole in the firewall, thus no drilling or cutting was required. I’m real satisfied with its heating ability. You’ll love hot water heat! Peyton |

We built an underseat water heater for our '30 Sport Coupe. The core is cut down from a Ford truck. The squirel cage blower is from a computer and adapted to a 12 v motor. It puts out air in the 165°F range. Gets pretty toasty. My son welded up the stainless steel box it is in. The outlets are from a small British sports car. I have also shown a thermostat we are using that was on the car when we got it. Its settings are: low - alcohol - high.

Back around 1960, I found this heater in an old truck in a junk yard. After bending the fuel shutoff valve handle, it just fits. Replaced the motor and painted it up. Put the on-off switch on my wife's kick panel. Works great.
