Despite some serious downpours, we had a very nice time at the tour. Fantastic stops, great food, and second to none attention from the host club. We found the Tennesee/Georgia people to be very kind and attentive every where we went. Some super nice cars, including a couple of A400's, a bunch of Cabriolets, and of course many, many sedans and coupes. Great weather Wednesday had nearly every open car with the top down. There is not a volunteer club to host the 2014 tour yet, so I hope one steps up. I think the driving is the most enjoyable aspect of this great hobby.
Rock City at the top of Lookout Mountain was the highlight for me, with the Chickamauga Civil War battlefeild coming in a close second. HUNDREDS of large cement monuments over several square miles. I believe the casualties from both sides was in excess of 35,000 men. A staggering number and a bit unsettling as you look out over the feilds where so many lost they're lives.
If you ever make it to Chattanooga, I hope you'll spend some time to see these great attractions.
