Default 32 body to frame torque?

Using repo subrails and floor to restore 32 5-window floor that had been channeled. In setting all this up, how tight would you tighten the body to frame bolts in rebuilding this floor? Hope to get floor assembled before dropping body down and over it. Any suggestions?

Lou, First thing that comes to mind: the floor sits on top of the subrail flanges. So the body with subrails attached should be bolted to the frame and then the floor set in piece by piece.

John, I did as you said, but still not sure if bolts should be finger tight, torque to 15-20 lbs or what. Don't want to distort anything and would like to get it close to right before lowering body on the assembled floor.

I doubt if there was a torque specification for the body-to-frame attachment, but rather normal 15-20 lbs. torque associated with non-power tool tightening by hand. I would recommend that the original type 1/16" x 2" body webbing be in place and the 1 1/2" x 2" rubber pads for the last two body-to-frame bolts at the rear on each side in place also (the last being 1/4" thick and the penultimate 1/8" thick). (There was no body webbing on the frame rearward of where the horizontal portion of the chassis frame ends are the kickup for the the rear axle.)

The webbing is in place and is the correct type and spec. I guess, hand tighten subrails to frame, then place the floor metal and front wood.
Thanks
