Searching for my 1928 Tudor
OK, now you will think I'm a nutcase. My first Model A was a 1928 Tudor, engine number 457909 (September 28, 1928). Last seen in Chicago in 1969. If anyone has an idea as to process or methods to try to find this car, please let me know. Illinois does not have six digit VIN's anymore. Neighboring states DMV's are not helpful either. Ran an ad in Hemmings a few years ago, but no response. My dad and I restored this car beginning when I was 13 years old. Passed my drivers license exam in the car (fully restored) in 1963 in Chicago. Sold it to help pay for school. Now I'm an old retired guy hoping to find my first love. Any ideas are much appreciated. Regards, [email protected] |

Wouldn't it be cool if it was owned by a Barn member.
