I am in the process of upholstering my 29 murry 4dr sedan. I am having a problem with the window frames. There is a groove down the middle of the window frames. Does the upholstery covered cardboard fit into this groove & how far should it go in. I did the drivers door and have been unable to get the screws in along the bottom of the frame. seems once you get the upholstery in there in not enough room to screw the frames to the wood. Any thoughts will be helpful.
