There is an easy answer I am sure....
On my 28 Tudor, should there be a round rubber bumper rivetted to the hood just below each hood clip bracket? Thanks, Gus |

If your hood is already mounted but still needs the rubber riveted on I have done that. It's a two man job, as one guy needs to hold a heavy steel backup and the hood, while the other guy rivets.

Thanks,
I am mid restoration and have the hood sides off. I have now drilled holes (someones previous patch repair hadn't included re-drilling these holes) and will be getting them blasted (very carefully) and primed. Then I can do some body prep and paint when the time comes. Thanks for the advice. Gus |

I used the same as Richard, and putting a drop of oil on the tool tip helps to make a nice roll on the rivet.

It may depend on what size rivets were provided by the vendor. The original rivets were 9/64" but I've seen some vendors package smaller 1/8" rivets which is the same size as brake lining rivets.
