Default Help With windshield

Had the body off my 1930 ccpu. I put the windshield in today but it is not fitting
It seems to be crooked if I shim one side of the body will that fix my problem ?

Was it ok before the body had been removed ? My first coupe windshield post had been hit sometime in its life (musta been hard) and post was just a bit back on the drivers side. I didn't notice because I got the car in the summer and always had the windshield open for the breeze. Once cold weather came I went to shut it and noticed it didn't shut correctly and had a gap at the bottom of the one post.
