At Hershey, I saw a 30-31instrument panel being bought. Supposedly it was made of brass instead of steel. On the back side was a B stamped close to where the round speedo hole is. How common are these, and were they also made in the late 31 style with the grooved line border around the whole face? I didn’t notice if it had the border line before the lucky guy walked away.

Less common that the steel ones. Is there any truth the story that they were more often found on open body cars?
