Default A Model Tudor Across from a Chevrolet Plant in Flint, MI, 1937

This is an interesting street scene just after a bitter strike in 1937, more info on theoldmotor.com

3 cars back from the Model A looks to be a 35 ford sedan, possibly tudor sedan. Also across the street, looks like a shot of the rear of another ford sedan, possibly 33-34 by the looks of the back end and spare tire.

I could look at these type pictures all day. I know life was hard back in those days but I would still have loved to have been around back then.

4th car back on the left, looks like it is a Press car as it appears to have some sort of addition to the roof allowing someone to stand on it for taking pictures.

This may sound strange but I can see the tension/friction in the air just by looking at that pic.
I have often wondered if the old days were better but the older I get the more I realise they were not.

Manuel, good observation as there was. This was after a long bitter strike near the end of the depression and at this point in time the workers at the Fisher Body Co. next door were still on strike and were occupying the factory.

At the time photos of both events and the suffering endured were front page news.

It looks like the Tudor is early 30 with the "eye brow" type front fenders beads.

Nice picture of my home town, also the year I was born.
My Dad and uncles worked for Chev and fisher body, Ac spark plug, and Buick.
