What is the best treatment to bondo and paint over a leaded part on the rear top?

I would give it a good scrub with metal prep and a scotchbrite pad to be sure it's clean and free of any nasty acid.
When it's thoroughly dry I would scuff it down good and epoxy primer then filler or filler primer as normal. |

if you need to do any filling over lead , clean the area real good that has the lead on it and sand the area with 40 grit and use All Metal filler it sticks good to lead if you use a plastic filler make sure you let it dry real good before sanding it will peel right off lead if you don`t
