Default 1933 1934 Ford New Roadster Phaeton Part Comming Soon

I have the driver side Metal Header Strip complete. Working on the tooling for the passenger side. This mounts on the front wood header just in front of the windshield. Here are some photos. It is made from cold rolled steel just as the original. Special tooling was created to accomplish the countersunk holes. The dies for the longer passenger side are really big and very hard to build. Trust me this was not a easy part to create. Hope to have it done soon. Let me know what you think. [email protected]
Best Regards,

i have a 1934 roadster and i am missing this part-- i am puzzled about it where it fits in--my header is ariginal --i problly need your part. show us a picture on its application on the header piece. thankyou for working on this part. mine has the little metal eyebrow and rubber around the windshield wiper-motor shaft-where do those stips go in relation to these? keep up the good work. crazy bill ph,503-623-8042

The two Metal Header Strip are screwed to the header bow and they should be chrome plated.

Steve,
You did a fantastic job on the photos. It captures there location perfectly. And you did a nice close-up. Being a part that came from the factory on all Roadsters and Phaetons I think not only is it a necessary part for the stock original car but also important part for a Hot Rod as well.

The front top bow trim strips are finished. Here is how they turned out. As you know they can be seen from the front of the car. The shorter on is on the driver side and the longer one is on the passenger side. Oval head screws attaches them to the wood. The far edge of each strip has a compound curve which was very difficult to make the curve blend nicely into the straightaway. [email protected]
