The question I have today is I have a 55 ford fairlane 2dr. club sedan and am wondering if the front door hinges from a 53 4dr. front door will be the same? any help will be appreciated. thanks

No they are not the same.
You can buy new hinge pins for the old hinges at most of you favorite Ford resto parts suppliers.
Additional modifications can also be done to the old hinges to help raise the doors about 1/8 inch or more by relocating the mounting holes if you are good with a welder and files.
