Can Anyone Identify This Auto Dash Clock For Me. It has 49 on the back so I can be sure that it is from the 1949 model year. Your expert knowledge is greatly appreciated. I would like to get it to the correct owner who has a need for it. You can contact me at [email protected] Thank you,

It's not from a 49 or 50 Ford because the winder stem comes out the bottom not the front like the one pictured.

It appears it maybe an electric clock as it has a lug in the center portion on the back. That may explain the difference in the "winder" location. Just guessing though. That's the way it is on '55 Ford clocks.

Just my impression from memory, but it looks to me like late '50s and '60s Chrylser/DeSoto because of the visor bezel and face design.

I know ford had a wind up clock and an elect clock in 1949. One time I had both cars with them. I think the wind up had the stem on the lower face. But it's been a long time ago. Bill

It is not a 49 or 50 windup or electric. This is a 49-50 clock.

You're a legend Toby. It certainly doesn't belong to 49-50 Ford.

Did anyone check the link I posted in #8 ? Looks like 1950 Studebaker may be it, most Ford & GM clocks do not have full numerals all around except some Pontiacs.
