Default Saw very interesting 28 AA the other day

I was at a forum member's house looking a 31 fire engine red indented firewall, steel topped, wide bed pickup he has for sale. It is definitely a driver with paint chips but very presentable. https://www.fordbarn.com/forum/showthread.php?t=47903

While I was looking he pulled out his early 28 AA engine number 4857. He bought it as a basket case in primer. He bought some spray cans of flat black and proceeded to do an "antique" paint job. He even lettered a distressed "Buddy's Farms Bullard,TX" on the driver's door. He left the banged up and torn fender and the rest of the usual defects. The canvas top had been replaced with an old Penzoil sign over rotten wood a long time back complete with nail holes. The overall result was amazing. He fooled me as I thought it must be patine! The one downside is the low speed rear end that tops out at 18mph. Good job Buddy!

That is a neat truck... if it were an open express, I'd be on my way out there to get it !

So. the first-production AA trucks also had the left-hand e-brake ?

Did the e-brake operate all four wheels as on the cars ?

The first AA's has the left hand brake lever and it operated all four service brakes. The lever is the same part as used on the A.

I have yet to find an original '28 AA without the left hand lever. So, this feature does not identify the AA as early '28.
