Working with a fibreglass rear section, so have a bit of thickness to deal with.
Looking at the pic, is the lower edge of the lid chamfered or scalloped out in any way to have the lid miss the lower rear deck when it opens? Or is it just square on and slightly in, not flush so as to miss? ![]() |

I have an unrestored original roadster, the rumble lid looks like the #one figure you have.

Is the bottom edge different on a rumble lid compared to a trunk lid?

Would anyone have a close up side on pic of the angled area and height ofthe chamfer , so I can modify it to look and fit OK.
As Mitch asks, my glass lid is for probably made as a trunk, (if they are different) as it has hinges holes already drilled at top edge. |

Trunk lid and rumble lid are the same. My rumble lid is drilled for trunk lid hinges and visa versa. All that is needed is relocating the handle I believe and swapping out hinges trunk for rumble. Pete |
