What is the correct procedure (step by step) to clean out the non-glass fuel line sediment bowl? How often should a Model A owner do so?
Thanks. |

If your tank is clean no rust, Maybe once a year or so. Just shut gas off, unscrew bottom, should be a lead washer, drop down and clean out, a little brush ,unless no rust etc comes out should be good to go unless you want to completely remove form vehicle. remove gas line and nut holding to fire wall, and reverse order to put back together. Good Luck.

This is a pics of mine waiting on my lead washer. This can be painted black or left bare iron. And when you turn the valve on the sedument bowl make sure you have something under it to get the gas that comes out. Last edited by gunmetal blue; 07-05-2011 at 09:45 PM. |
