Default Old searches...are they gone?

After trying to find 2 searches, for 2 different people, that I posted on,
I find that they are gone. Each of us has only( up to ) 500 old posts.

Has anybody noticed this?

To find an old post, past are 500, do we start at page 1 and work forward,
or anybody else for that matter?

NOT trying to upset ANYBODY, just looking for information.
Thanks, Dudley

If I use some of the key words in the original thread title I sometimes can find an old thread, but not always. That's why it's important to use key words for a problem and not some obscure phrase like "Help me, what's wrong", instead of asking "Why don't I have spark".

If asking about a particular part it would be helpful to use Ford's name for the part, and also Ford's part number, if known. So, if I wanted information about the gas guage I would put in the title: "When did the gas guage A-9300 change?". Now, someone could do a search by the Ford number, or by gas guage, and should be able to get back to that thread.
