I was installing my bumper sets for the tudor but can not figure out how to get the guide clips and rubbers in the door. Went back to Brattons cataloge and read [you may need to trim rubber pieces]. I am at a total loss as to how this should be done .I would grateful if someone on the barn could explain this to me .
Thanks Warren |

I trim them with a single edge razor blade. It takes patients and is kind of a hit and miss operation.

I do the same as Glenn. Hopefully you have the old rubber to use as a guide for the trimming. Someone posted a picture of them, and my first thought is that it was Marco. Maybe you can find it on his website.

Thanks Glenn and Tom ; I will check Marco's web site for a picture. I will trim and try the rubber pieces till I get them to fit. Wonder why they can't make them right? It is a never ending learning experience altering the repos to make them work.I spent a whole day on the windlace retaining strips getting them bent to fit the post.

![]() ![]() This should give you an idea of size and shape. If you are careful and STEADY, the easiest, cleanest way to shape them is SLOWLY with a bench grinder. It's easy for me but if you aren't steady you will be purchasing another set.
