A question regarding 35/36 windscreen frames.
Is there a difference in width between cabriolet, station wagon & convertible sedans against coupes and sedans? I know the section is different but does the external width differ? Graham |

![]() Graham, This does not answer your question, but did you know that the British Ford Pilot Windscreen fits the 1935 and 1936 Ford Coupes and Sedans. The bonus being that it is made in brass and does not rust. |

Yes I was aware of that.
Pilot windscreens are very sort after and virtually non existent now for that reason. |

Thanks Tony, I am aware that the shape is completely different particularly at the corners.
I was wanting to know if the outside cross section of the frame varies. Nyall has some covers from Drake described as 35/36 for the joint in the screen that are to wide for a sedan screen and we wondered if they might be for a cabriolet? |

Contact NC Industries, PO Box 254, Sayre PA 18840, (570) 888-6216, www.windshieldframes.com.
They make windshield frames for a lot of cars and pickups other than USA-Ford. You might get lucky and they have the patterns and tubing to be able to make the Pilot. The seam clips are different between the 1935-36 Ford closed car and convertible windshields. |

Thanks Tony, looks like we have convertible seam clips as the frame appears to be just that much wider than the closed car.
