Bought a Holley 94 2 barrel carb from Mac bids for $50, didnÂ’t really need it at the time but it was new no gas smell, seems legit, getting around to using it now and IÂ’m confused with the jets that are in it ,they are marked 350 ? IÂ’m googling the crap out of this and seems they are metric 1.617mm which would be equivalent to a .063, IÂ’m using it on a 49 ford flathead head which would originally have .051 jets,my research show IÂ’d need a 230 jet 1.311mm to equal.051 jet, this is confusing to me IÂ’ve never experienced metric jets in any Holley is this why it was on Mac bids😂havenÂ’t dug deep into the thread size on it yet but could it be metric also? If itÂ’s a standard 1/4”-20 I should be able to just put a .051 in itÂ’s place

Maybe they should have named that product a Holley 23.876 2 barrel, right?
If I recall correctly, 1949 Fords were still having growing pains to get used to phillips head screws, let alone having never heard of something called Metric. Does it even have a vacuum port for your distributor? You didn't specify the model of your carburetor, only the throat size. Don't waste further time and energy on a bad buy. Toss it and get an authentic rebuilt Holley from any of the tried and true sources on this site. By the way, Macs is not one of the tried and true I spoke of.

So... You're still keeping those pants from 1979 hoping they'll fit you again someday?

Holley jets are 1/4"-32, so doesn't sound like they will work in you carb which I assume is a Chinese knock of (AKA not the best choice).
