Default 1939-1940 heater switch

ON a original 39- 40 ford hot water heater switch 5 position switch if the switch is missing the wire resistors on the back of the switch can it be repaired with new resistors if so anyone know of someone who can do the job. thank you JIM

Those are fairly high watt resistors any replacements would be much larger in size.
