Default Any idea what this tool is?

Wondering what this is. I found it in an area where my wife's cousin used to do a lot of work on cars. It is about 6 inches long. The large end is either 1' or 7?8". One end lookshuttool.jpg like a bottle opener.

It would be considered a multi-tool. It probably came as a tool kit item for some mechanical aperatus. The end has a slot spanner to fit nuts with slots instead of hex flats.

Could be any one of a thousand applications. The type of tool that came with the unit it is used on.I have something like that for the old Homart piston water pump. While yours is still an 8 point, for square plugs or nuts,it is open.Mine is closed for the priming plug.

Looks a little like a water pump tool, but not it,I don't think it's a ford tool either. https://www.mikes-afordable.com/product/T8501W.html

A google image search turned up no exact matches but hundreds of similar style multi-tools. Most of those results describe the tool as a bicycle wrench.
