Default Starting to load up for Luray

Mid Atlantic pre war swap meet in 1 week.
Started loading the trailer, I still have to dig out good stuff from my storage trailer. Lots of nos parts, and early V8 parts. My Luray special will be a table of $1 a item
Or $20 for a 1 gal paint bucket full. I have 2 cases of paint buckets.

So, ...how did everyone do?

For me, I did very well buying for customer's projects (...about did too well because my trailer was bulging at the seams coming home.) however I guess I brought the wrong items to sell because my sales was very poor.

As for vendors, I think it was well represented with very, very little brass-era orphan car parts available for sale. I would guess the mix of A vs. T parts was probably about equal. No one could really help this but if the weather had been better on Friday morning, there would have been better participation from both vendors and buyers. Jim McPherson was there but never unloaded. I did not see Jeff with Brattons, nor Devin with Smith & Jones. Gator Goulds had a family conflict and Dan Hatch was sick, so both of those backed out at the last minute. It was good to see, visit with, and buy an armload of stuff from Buddy Frasier. The same with Wick. All in all, this is a very worthwhile meet to attend. Dennis and the VFW guys do a fantastic job hosting this.

Thanks to all who asked for me. Sorry I could not attend. Son Eric and Rebecca brought us a great brunch. We crashed all afternoon. We are both in to rehab tomorrow and forward.
Happy Mother's Day

I was there Friday morning and braved the occasional rain. I was able to pick up a Ford script water return pipe, a first-style riveted bulb distributor upper plate, a reproduction Ford battery, four Model B water pumps, a nice set of matching 1931 shock links, and a box of reproduction and real Champion 3X spark plugs to restore.

I would have been happy with just one of these finds, but with everything, I was darn near ecstatic!
