Default 1933 Brake adjustment

Can someone help me out with how the brakes are adjusted in my 1933 station wagon. the brake pedal is resting all the way to the floorboard. when I climbed under the car I see at the cross shaft has a sliding end on the rod from the brake pedal. There is a clevis pin which allows the rod to slide back and forth.
