Default Stabilizer bar links are shot.

I'm having trouble finding replacement stabilizer bar links for my 54 Mercury Monterey. Part number is MEK-55495-A. Are the links for a 54 Ford the same? Several suppliers have the Ford links but can't tell me for certain they're the same for Mercury.

I did find one nos link on eBay but I need two of course.

As an alternative, you could always get a set of longer links from an auto parts store, cut the tube to match the length of your originals, get the correct length bolt, and install them.

Have you checked Concours, C&G, or Mac's(last resort)? Or, do what rich b said, above.

Measure yours and then ask the people that have the 54 Ford to measure theirs.

Never mind what I said, as I looked in my catalogs and they only show them for Fords. They show the same part #s for lots of the front suspension pieces on Ford's & Mercury's. I just can't/don't understand it. I guess it's time to be creative and do what rich b suggests!
