Default Portland, Or Swap Meets in Progress 2025

Great weather forecast this weekend! Hard on the inside venders maybe- About one in 10 tries we get good sunshine! I'm working it for the V8 club, since it is only 4 hrs I get to roam a bit, gave up selling 4 yrs ago. Workers are really needed by the 6 sponsor clubs. Newc

Best of luck Newc. I didn't have a good experience the last three times I went.Seemed like a 50/50 split between automotive and other stuff . And a lot of the automotive was 80's and newer. I hope its gotten better. We are going to try Hershey this year since we now live back here to see what it's like. By the way ,I'm going to be at my brothers(your neigbor) in May to finish up my 41 pickup so we might stop by on a test drive.Tim

Thanks for the details, wasn’t sure what the OP was talking about. Portland was on the list of events to visit, maybe not so much based on comments.

Did Friday "uptop"; Found some special stuff at reasonable prices-passed the expensive/ arrogant sellers. Empty stalls were sold to "no shows", need to document them and "blacklist"? They buy stalls just to get the vendor passes ? Lots of once a year friends tho. Good yr for the "outdoor vendors" .
Had a good time- worked my 4 hr shift- went home tired. Some fellows walked the 3 mile race track Swap, on Thursday- Not me !! Newc

A couple friends and I left my house at 3:30 am Friday and got back to my house at 9:00 pm for the 200 mile trip. We had a great time and came home with some good stuff. My observation on the decline in booths and attendance was the lack of our Canadian friends.

Walked the 3 miles on Wednesday and battled the off and on rain. Had my space in E-building on Thursday through Friday. Left Saturday at noon. Actually did real well selling parts. Probably the best sales I have had in the past 5 years. Got to visit with a lot of friends that live in the northwest. Already signed up for next year.
