I have a question regarding the type of fasteners that were originally used to install the lower radiator pan on the 1951 Ford car. I have the pan but it has not previously been attached. There is no mention of this in the shop manual, so any information would be appreciated. Thanks for any help that you might be able to provide

The splash pan is attached by 11 self-tapping bolts. You can get them from Third Gen/Michael Driskell. Kit #J-94-17. Around $5 for the package. You should be able to see the holes where the bolts attach.
The small bolts are 1/4x20, 1/2 in. long. Ken
