Default Speedway Motors

Has anyone had experience with buying parts from speedway motors. I need an open car windshield frame and a stone guard and they are less expensive than the Model A vendors. Could I have your opinions.

Very reputable, been in business a long time. You shouldn’t have any issues purchasing from them.

I've bought from Speedway several times, they are easy to deal with and now have facilities in several cities and ship quickly. The last time I bought anything from them I had the items in hand the very next day.

BTW, their Speedster Reunion event is being held this June 18th-21st, registration can be made starting 3-1.

I would second the Old Car Center. I have been dealing with Speedway for years, but of late with shipping to Canada, their prices are getting out of hand. Myself and several cohorts have been buying from the Old Car Center of late and have found them to be price competitive and you are supporting a good Canadian business.

Even after Speedy Ed died, they are still nice to deal with. Remember though, when in doubt call them and ask first. They don't make their stuff.

We have bought literally bought tons of stuff from them over the last 40 yrs. and its been a great experience. If there was ever an issue it was handled immediatley.

Go for it.

They are still a great business to deal with I believe the sons run the business since bill and his wife have passed away some years ago also the best museum in the United States in my opinion!!!

I can remember the Speedway Motors booth and displays at the SEMA Shows... even met and shook hands with 'Speedy' Bill hisself one year.

Much like the Sears & Roebuck catalog... their mail order catalogs were very popular... gracing many shops, homes and no doubt... an outhouse or two, as well!
