Default 34 3 window striker plates

Hey guys I need some help with the striker plates on my 34 3window.
The problem is, the male counter part on the body is wider that the female counter part on the striker plate.
I've actually found 1 striker plate on ebey, naturally just 1, that has a wider female counter part but it still seams to rock on its male counter part on the body.
Kinda at a loss here.
Could anyone shed some lite on this for me.
I apricate it.
