I just bought a Model A, and the seller is throwing in a bunch of spare parts, including this partial block. Roughly, what would this weigh? I need to return to get the parts, and I trying to estimate how much help I’ll need to take with me.

I'd guess 225-ish with the flywheel.

It's been a while, but I seem to remember the bare block,no caps, was about 140.Crank was another 40.The bare block, crated up,would sneak under the limit for UPS.The bearing caps would put it over.

My discussion about the Sears/Allstate replacement "core" engines from a couple of days ago put a "short block" (i.e. minus flywheel, housing, starter, generator, water pump, probably head) at 230lb shipping.
That was then when 230lbs had no metric equivalent and "Women were glad of it." Sorry. Mixing metaphors. Joe K

If you pull the flywheel, that motor at the top is easily loaded with a second person. I've done it alone, when friends were scarce. That flywheel adds something like 65lbs, which makes a big difference.
