Default Battery Cable Wire Gauge

All of the venders appear to sell the same positive to starter battery cable. Snyders is the only one that lists the cable as 2/0. I don't believe that is correct. Can anyone verify if the cables sold are #1 or 1/0?
Thanks, Dave

Marine supply stores have the larger cable and the ends and the tools to crimp the ends to the cables.

Thanks to all that have replied to my question. I have said many times that if you ask ten people the same question you will probably get twenty different answers. Gary WA is the only one that answered my question. I was not asking where to buy one only what gauge are the ones we buy made of.
I consider the Ford Barn to made up of mostly an older generation. I'm 77 so I should fit in to the older generation. Were we not taught to listen or read before we answer. Please people read the entire post before answering.

"Marine supply stores" is a Latin term that translates to add 30%.

I have used welding cable with no ill effects. But for ease of use you can't beat this place.

If your car is 6V you'll want the 2/0 -

Welding cable is much more flexible as it uses smaller but more strands of wire. It has the same current capacity as the same size battery cable.

Go to this site https://www.batterycablesusa.com/battery-cables. All the different cable sizes are shown along with a voltage drop calculator for different gauge cable and loads.
I use a 1/0 gauge cable and solder on the connectors versus crimping.

The link that CT Jack provided above is great. The drop calculator they provide calculates the voltage drop with 00 (2/0) cable, 200 amps, 6 volts, 2 feet, at 1% or 0.06 volts (approximately).

For those who converted to 12V systems, I recommend you retain the 6V battery cables and all 6V field windings. The 6V wire gauges are larger, so they have less voltage drops.
