Workhorse of the line. Nearly a third of all 'A's sold were Tudors. 1929 was the biggest production year of any year/model, with over 500,000 produced. I own one of them....

Pipe in mouth, foot on the runningboard, hand on the door, and a smile on his face says it all. Look ma, what I have achieved!

"Just a Tudor"??? Just the bread and butter of the Model A line, is all!!! Due to the sheer number of Tudors built and eagerly gobbled up, I would venture to say that the humble, yet most popular Tudor Sedan should be the poster child for the Model A Ford, just as a Touring car would be for the Model T. Each of those body styles far outsold their brethren back in the day. I'm sure more smiles and fond memories would result among children of the Great Depression from seeing photos of Tudor Sedans or seeing a survivor than seeing the flashier roadsters or phaetons 'cuz that's the body style Mom and Dad drove. On a personal level, although I prefer the '30-31 open body styles to the '28-29, I like the '28-29 Tudors more than the '30-31's. 'Dunno why. I just do. So, there!

My father told me he preferred 2 door cars because they kept "the kids" corraled in the back.

Looks like a working man who is proud of what he has accomplished. I tip my hat.

I was brought home from the hospital where I was born in my father's 1930 Model A Tudor. He kept it until 1939 when and traded it in for a new Plymouth 4 door.
