I don't know if this photo from my 42 Ford will help you any, but I remember being really attentive at the time of installation.

O.K., this may help a little more. The smaller diameter hose goes to the smaller port on the wiper motor and allows the wipers to stay in "park" when shut off. The hose on center port of the switch goes to the "silencer just below the carburetor on the intake manifold. The other hose goes from the switch to the wiper motor on the RH side. Kube had a post asking this several years back and I used his picture of the switch. He is one of the smartest people on here so if he has to ask you know it's a good question.

my switch barley moves because of a cotter pin going throughthe stem on the switch, would you have a picture of the bottom of the switch so to compare ? also whitch hole in the firewall does the hose go through to the carburator ?

Hose goes thru just above the wiring harness on the drivers side. The cotter pin shouldn't move but the end should when you move the knob. If you don't have a knob take a small screwdriver and turn the shaft. Opening is about even with the heater hose on the opposite side.

Try some WD-40 or Lock Ease on it. I would not try to get it apart as it looks like the die cast may be fragile.

Kroil would also be a suggestion. NOS appear on Ebay from time to time. I don't think it would hurt to shoot some down the ports either.

If you can't get it freed up there's a used one on Ebay that the guy claims is good for $27.
Item # is 176720644044 .
